Job Title: Sr. PHP Developer

Salary Range: 35,000 to 50,000 (Depending on Experience)

Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree


Required skills

* MUST be a Computer Science / MIS / IT Graduate.

* Must have at least 3 to 4 years of proven professional industry experience working on PHP Web Development Projects preferably for US clients or Projects.

* Must be comfortable working with PHP and MySQL database website projects.

 

* Must have worked on open source software like OS Commerce and alike.

 

* Must be able to to use JQuery and AJAX and work with valid xHTML.

 

* Good English communication skills are required as the person will be communicating with US clients on a daily basis by phone, email, or Instant Messengers.

* Must be a self starter with ability to work independently.


Desired Skills:
 

* Hands-on experience on anyone or more of the Joomla, WordPress and Drupal platforms is a big plus.

* Knowledge of some or all of following will be an added advantage:
GD Library, cURL, Smarty, Mambo, PayPal, Google Checkout, Payment Gateways, Shopping Carts, API, Web Services, XML, AJAX, URL Rewriting, Cron Jobs, Triggers, Stored Procedures, XHTML, SEO, Blogs, RSS Feeds, Podcasts.

* Experience of working with other programming languages such as Java/JSP, ASP.NET or ASP Classic will be a definite plus.

 

Timings:

* Job timings for this position are from 12 PM to 9 PM Pakistan time.

* In case of additional work load, the person should be willing to work extra hours (we pay over time) at work or from home and therefore needs to have a reasonable speed of Computer and Internet
